MotulTech GEAR SY 460
synthetic gear oil based on polyglycols (PAG)
MotulTech GEAR SY 460 is a high-performance gear oil based on synthetic polyglycols (PAG), specifically designed for extreme temperature conditions and high mechanical loads. With excellent thermal and oxidation stability, the oil provides long-term protection of transmission systems and reduced operating costs. It offers a very low coefficient of friction, which results in reduced energy consumption and lower operating temperatures.
Use:
MotulTech GEAR SY 460 is used in industrial gears exposed to very high temperatures and intense loads, such as worm, planetary, helical or bevel gears. Recommended for use in industrial drives, transport systems, packaging machines and equipment operating in environments with increased humidity and the presence of water vapour.
Advantages and benefits of use:
- High thermo-oxidation stability: enables safe operation of the gear even above 200 °C.
- Outstanding shear stability: Viscosity and lubricating properties are maintained over a long service life.
- Very low foaming tendency and excellent demulsification: ensures uninterrupted operation of lubrication systems.
- Elastomer compatibility: safety in contact with a wide range of seals and construction materials.
- Eco-friendly and ash-free additives: minimise environmental impact and extend the life of components.
Classifications:
DIN 51517-3 CLP, ISO 12925-1 type CKC/CKD/CKT, AGMA 9005-E02
Approvals and approvals:
Meets the requirements of manufacturers such as: Flender, David Brown, Hansen, Moventas, FAG Schaeffler, SKF, Timken
